WELLNESS EXAMS
Our kind and caring doctors, perform a thorough check of the overall health of your pet(s) and address any questions or concerns you may have, as well as update your pet(s) on any vaccinations due at the time.
SURGERY/ DENTAL CARE
Our team performs a variety of procedures, everything from Spay and Neuter procedures to Orthopedic, Ophthalmology and more. We also do preventative and restorative dental cleanings and care.
EMERGENCY CARE/ MOBILE SERVICE.
Our office is open Monday thru Friday from 8am -6pm. And Saturday from 8am-12:30pm. If during those times your pet is experiencing an emergency, please give us a call and we will try and work you into our schedule. We also offer a mobile service option, so instead of you coming to us, we come to you!
MICROCHIPPING
Here at Advanced Veterinary we are dedicated to the safety and well being of your pets. That is why as part of our many services, we perform in- office micro-chipping. This way in the unfortunate event that your pets may get lost, there is a way to get them home safely.
PREVENTATIVE MEDICINE
We offer a variety of preventative medications such as flea, tick and heart worm prevention and treatment. Our brands include, Trifexis, Bravecto, Simparica Trio, Heartgard and Nexgard.
BATHING
Call today to schedule your appointment for your furry one to get their full grooming experience. We will clean their ears, trim their toenails and of course leave them smelling clean and fresh, ready for lots of love when they come home!*
*Pets must be up to date on their vaccines and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention in order for baths or boarding/ daycare.
BOARDING/ DAYCARE
We know that the last thing you want to do when you go on vacation is to worry about what's going on back home! As part of our boarding/ day care service we take your pet(s) on frequent walks throughout the day, (yes, even on weekends) and depending on the length of their stay they even get a bath!**
SPECIALTY FOODS
Not everyone likes the same food, and some of us have strict diets. That's why we offer foods and treats for cats and dogs who have special dietary needs. Come in to see what we offer!

OUR STAFF
Dr. Sanchez is the owner and founder. He studied for his Bachelor's at Kansas State and later gained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Straight out of Medical School he started his own practice in Kansas where he practiced there for two years, he then moved down to South Florida where he practiced for two years, then later started doing mobile services for mixed breed animals. A short time after opened up Advanced Veterinary, here in Seffner, in 1994 where we have been for the past 28 years.
Dr. Rodriguez started his journey at the University of Puerto Rico, he later attended Pedro Henriquez Urena National University where he obtained his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Later in 2012 he came over to the United States and has been practicing here at AVS for the past 10 years.
